A class action suit has been filed against Harlequin Enterprises and two European corporations it created for sub-licensing purposes (this is alleged). Click here to read the article on GalleyCat.
I’ll be watching this lawsuit to see what comes of it. What I’ve read so far has me shaking my head. My mother and sister worked for Harlequin in Canada. I grew up reading Harlequin. When I decided to become an author (in my youth), I intended to write for Harlequin. News like this is sad news indeed.

This lawsuit against Harlequin Enterprises and two European corporations shocked me. So disappointing, never thought that a great book enterprises like Harlequin will get into this trouble.
