Have you ever entered a room and felt like everyone was staring at you? You gaze down at your clothes to ensure you haven’t forgotten your top or have toilet paper stuck on your shoe. Or are you more likely to trip over your own feet just when you want to make an impression? Well, my latest heroine, Miss Suzanna March, suffers from such a disability – she is a klutz. During her debut season into London she had spilt wine on her gown, fallen over in a ballroom filled with members of the ton and befriended a Viscount who gave her the cut direct in front of the society she was struggling so hard to impress. So what does any self respecting girl do? She flees to Paris.
Where of course, Suzanna learns to be a lady of the first water. One who is determined to re-enter London society and prove to everyone she’s no longer the freckled redhead who had provided them with such amusement. And perhaps while she’s there a little pay back toward the Viscount, who she’d once secretly admired, wouldn’t hurt either.
A Marriage Made in Mayfair, is a tale of two people from different levels of society; their struggles with image, both cosmetic and financial, that dictates their life within the strictures of the ton. It is a tale of how wrongs can be made right through honour and truth.

Lord Danning unbeknown to his peers is in financial strife and desperate to marry an heiress. Such luck would have it Miss Suzanna March fits all his credentials and seduction is his plan of action. Yes, the woman who returned from Paris is stronger, defiant, and a little argumentative, but it does not stop Lord Danning finding himself in awe and protective of her.
But will Suzanna fall for such pretty words from a charmer only after one thing. Or will Lord Danning prove to Suzanna and himself that she is more than his ticket out of debtor’s prison…

I am a klutz. I always have been. I continually trip over my own two feet, have spilled numerous drinks on myself and others, and have even fallen when I wasn’t looking where I was going.

I’m not to klutzy, it only happens every now and then. However, the one time was when I was trying to run with my dog and he basically caused me to trip. Which caused me to rotate my ankle, I had to hobble home with the dog. After that I swore off running with my dog ever again.

I’m a klutz. I trip over air!! When I was in high school, some friends of mine and I went to see a local concert (think of 90′s rockers bands). We were flirting with the bass player and the drummer, and they were flirting back. We started dancing, being all cool, when I winked at the bass player and turned around, next thing I know, I was looking up at the bass player and my friends. I had tripped, hard, and fell back so hard it knocked me out for a second. The music stopped playing, everyone was staring….oh yeah…good times! A night I’ll never soon forget.

My mother used to tell me that I was the only person that she knew that could fall UP the steps!! There is not one special time though….. its sort of generic! LOL (sorry… no e-books… yet.)

Suzanna is obviously a sister of the heart for me (and for my actual sister.) We are grade A klutzes, always have been. I laughed at the description of Suzanna’s trials–been there, done that, got (and stained) the t-shirt. I’m looking forward to reading her story.

It was someone’s 65th birthday party and the wine was flowing (waitresses were filling glasses without you even knowing it – that’s my story and I’m sticking to it). I got up and promptly fell back down missing the chair completely! At least I wasn’t the one to stand on the table to tell a bad joke lol.

Oh, yes. I was always the tall, gangly kid and I don’t think I ever grew out of it. In fact, the more polished I have to seem, the worse the klutziness shows!

Well about a month ago I was dropping my grandson off at my nieces house, I was all dressed up for an appt. High heels and all. My nieces father was also there. He had to move his truck so I could leave and as I was getting into the car my high heels slipped on the edge of the pavement. Well I slipped and fell flat on my back. Of course my nieces father was there to see it all. I just got up got in my car and a soon as I could I left. I don’t think I am a Klutz. I am just oblivious, I just don’t pay attention to whats going on around me. one time I was driving and I saw some people playing soccer and was watching them thinking how interesting and rear ended the car ahead of me. Thank goodness I have a husband who loves me very much and thinks I am just so cute. Really, what woman wants to be thought of as cute! Oh well I am so very lucky to have him.

I’m more socially clumsy — at a good friend’s wedding, I was introduced to her favorite brother (and I’ve been excited to meet him because I’ve heard a lot of good things about him) — the first thing I said when we shook hands was: “You looked taller in your pictures.” –

After many, (and I mean, many) dance lessons, my father decided it was best to search out my true tallent, gymnastics. I dreaded any sort of dance; ballroom, tap and ballet. I feared the worse–stepping on someone’s toes besides my brothers’, who were usually my dance partners. They must’ve loved me dearly. lol Unfortunately, my father made me go to a dance for my sweet 16th birthday, (harrumph). Needless to say, many important guess were there, including this guy I had had a crush on–since forever! Yelp, you might’ve guess it… My father and the father of the boy I liked, paired us up to dance the first set. I know his poor feet was stinging by the time the set was over. After many apologies, he never once said he forgave me. Since that day, I’ve avoided any place that has a dance floor. I have fear of dancing-itis. lol

I tripped and slid down the stairs at my high school’s basket ball game. So embarrassing! But not as bad as the time I walked into a sliding glass door. It was so clean, I thought it was open. :/

My a klutz? Absolutely not, well maybe a little bit. Okay so I trip over my own feet sometimes and …..
Okay to be honest I think I began to get the hint that I wasn’t graceful when in 5th grade when my ballet teacher took my mother aside and suggested that maybe I should try another activity – like knitting. You know something that didn’t include using my feet! Having two older sisters who were graceful as swans probably didn’t help.
In High School I thought I had finally outgrown my “awkward” stage when a friend had me try the uneven bars in front of the gymnastic coach and he was impressed. Well at least he was until I tried the balance beam and kept falling off and falling off and falling off!
So would I say I was a klutz? Absolutely not. I prefer to think that I’m vertically challenged and just happen to trip over my feet occasionally – okay a lot but I’d rather say it’s because I’m under-tall and have to run to keep up with every one else who’s just strolling along a slow pace!

I am a klutz. I think the most embarrassing thing that happened to me was when I was a senior in high school. I was a baton twirler, and ventured too far down the field. Luckily the band major stood between me and the other girls.

Please…I come from a long line of klutz’s. One of the most embarrassing moments was when I was at work and was getting a drink for a client. I work at a salon just to set the picture for you. I was walking through the salon back to my room when my shoe went out from under me and I went down in from of about 10 people. Glass of soda hit the floor and like a fountain and went over my head. You know you cant be alone when things like that happen. One month later I fell in my kitchen and tore my Ham string. I would not recommend anyone does that it hurts like h**l.

I am a Klutz. The older I get the worse I am. Don’t even think about me getting out in the winter when its slick. I have fail so many times in parking lots when its slick. The last time I was on roller skates I ended up in the ER with a broken Wrist, so I don’t go there anymore.

Huge klutz here. I fall over nothing at all and constantly walk in to corners. I’m positive I have no depth perception lol In high school I walked in to a light pole in front of everyone walking to the parking lot when school let out. Then another time I walked in to a water fountain, but then tried to play it off by taking a drink lol. Lucky for me my embarrassment threshhold is super high. When I trip, fall, spill, or walk in to things I laugh and check for injuries

I’m also a klutz of longstanding.
However, I while I am self-conscious about it, others often don’t notice or are too polite to mention it. We are our own worst critics. ;-0

Yes, I fell at a company picnic and sprained my ankle so bad they had to call an ambulance. Now I have a bad ankle and I never know when it’s going to give out.

Not only am I a klutz but EVERBODY I know knows it. At my neice’s graduation from college in Atlanta, I tripped and fell over NOTHING and broke a bone in my left foot…on Mother’s Day no less. The next year, in June this time, did it again and broke the same bone in the right foot. I am always bruised from running into doors and furniture that jumps in my path as I walk by. My family does not allow me on ladders anymore from fear of major injury.

We were attending a group get together at Red Lobster for dinner. We were eating whn the waiter moved behind us to serve the next table. He had a tray with a couple glasses of ice water on them. He tipped the tray and both spilled down my back. What a shock when you are not expecting it.

I was always tall for my age so I always felt self conscious. My mother brought me to ballet lessons and this seemed to help with the awkwardness. I always have great sympathy for clumsy characters.

Well, I become klutz only in front of the man I like. Whenever I meet him, I always did a strange things. You know like stammer then do something stupid. The embarrasing thing was when I tried to say hello to him . What really happen is I trip over the stone because I didn’t see the road. He heard me and came to lift me up. All my charm and pose just lost after the trip.

I’m under-tall myself but being closer to the ground gracefull does not make! When I was in grade school my ballet teacher even told my mother not to waste her money because I would never resemble a swan floating gracefully over the water and I was more similar to it’s web feet paddling like made below!
After being married for 42 years my husband has become very adept at catching me when I fall! Okay so maybe some times it’s been on purpose just to get an extra hug but please don’t tell him that!
