  12. Miranda says:

Congrats to everyone! and thanks, Beverly, for the opportunity to pitch. Everyone deserves a big hand for putting your pitches out there!

  13. Beverley says:

Thanks everyone!!! My greatest wish is that someone either gets a book contract or signs with an agent because of this. I’m crossing fingers and toes, ladies. :D

  14. Bronwyn says:

I know this is kind of silly, but us Aussies have different formatting than you gals… 3 pages, single spaced? Double spaced? Should I just close my eyes and wing it =)

    Bronwyn.

  15. Beverley says:

    Bronwyn,

Don’t wing it. It must be double-spaced. The first page should start about 1/3 down. Margins are 1 inch.

  16. Bronwyn says:

Thanks for that =) I’ll get it to you soon.

    Bronwyn.

  17. Kelly S says:

Congratulations to all the finalists! Out of curiosity sparked by Bronwyn’s posting, does font size matter? (eye brow wiggle)

  18. Kat Sheridan says:

THANK YOU!! I’m on the road today and just now checked in. This is so exciting!!

  19. Beverley says:

    Kelly S,

I think as long as you don’t have a TNR 11 font or something similar, things will be fine.

  20. Bronwyn says:

What do you mean by ‘don’t have’. I thought TNR 12 was standard… Now you have me worried. Personally I like Arial but I know publishers don’t. I hate second guessing but I do want to get it right =)

  21. Beverley says:

But TNR 11 is quite small. That’s what I meant. TNR 12 is fine or Arial.

  22. Jane L says:

A very big congrats to the winners and best of luck in the finals everyone!!
