Chiming in very late, here! Thanks for doing the excerpts – it’s such fun to be in the same company as Nicole and Kris!

Kelly S, in response to your concern, my hero doesn’t force himself on the heroine. They’re mad for each other, but are both very passionate and strong-willed. That’s what’s playing out in the scene.

Which, of course, raises the question – how long should an excerpt really be in order to satsify a reader?

Melissa,
I can vouch that you need to run on over and get a copy of The Conquerer. The novel is intriguing with a lot of adventure and a reaaallly sensuously sexy scene with an exciting build-up. I would never have guessed this was a debut novel. Same thing goes for Nicole’s novella. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that I love the Secrets anthologies and then to have a hot man in a kilt too! Well, let’s just say, I see a pattern with the two.

Though I have not read Mastering the Marquess yet, I am not satisfied with just a taste. Well, I am, but I’d love the whole dish. That was very hot hooker.
