Bah. & Phooey. But the excerpt was great, so maybe I'll try the first book in the series. Truly, I would go for the first book in a series regardless. I also will always try to read series in order. (Feel free to think I'm weird.) Book 2's excerpt didn't do it for me. Book 3, the intro hooked me more than the excerpt. So, maybe, but more likely to check it out from the library than purchase. If I like, well, then maybe buy it or the other books TJ has written.
