I cut her romance-reading teeth more than three decades ago on Rosemary Rogers, Kathleen Woodiwiss, and Bertrice Small. Some of my fondest memories of high school revolve around hitting the romance section in the newsstand near my orthodontist’s office, where they carried all the “good stuff.” My favorite authors include Judith Ivory, Courtney Milan, Gail Carriger, Tessa Dare, and Ann Aguirre.
