Mia is ready to bring her boyfriend Nick home. Her aunt’s wedding is the perfect time to show off her man. She gifts Nick with a plane ticket to Lucky Harbor but he quickly turns it down. With her feelings hurt, Mia goes home to heal and enjoy the holiday with her family.

Nick grew up without a real sense of family. He had to work hard for everything in life and Mia is the only bright light in his life. Living without Mia in his life is not an option so he heads off to Lucky Harbor to try to win his woman back.

This is such a cute and sweet story. It is great to see Mia all grown up and struggling to figure out what she really wants. Mia is strong and independent. I think her chemistry with Nick is strong but the author threw in Carlos (Mia’s teenage love) and even though he moved on, there is no real conversation there.

It is nice to see the original couples from the trilogy. I love revisiting Lucky Harbor even though it is very short. The story ends at almost halfway through the book. The story could have been longer and more developed but I am satisfied with the story.
